Distribution Engineering
ECG's Distribution Engineering Team is assigned to regions of the State. See the map in the menu on the left to find your community's engineer.
A properly designed and constructed electric distribution system provides reliable, safe electric service. Proper engineering and design result in predictable, safe system protection and efficient, economical delivery of electric service. We offer a construction spec book for utility professionals to use.
A sample of Distribution Engineering deliverables:
- Designing distribution for new residential, commercial, and industrial loads and developments
- Preparing construction drawings, operating diagrams, one-line system maps, and work order prints
- Determining the most effective method by which a participant may provide retail electric service for customer-choice loads
